Marron Moments: A Host’s Tale

Greetings and welcome to yet another installment of Marron Moments, in which your devoted host, myself, Olga Leonidi, shares a little bit of the love and care that goes into creating your Marron experience.

In my role as Marron’s host, every day is filled with fresh anecdotes, meaningful conversations, and an authentic delight in greeting visitors from throughout the world. I want to take you on a journey today and give you an inside look at what it takes to be a host.

Accepting Diversity: The array of cultures and tales that pass through Marron’s doors is among the most exquisite features of our hosting services. It’s an honor to share in each guest’s special story, as each one is different. Marron is a melting pot of experiences, from laughing together over breakfast to late-night talks in the living room.

Unexpected Delights:

You can be delightfully surprised by hosting. I remember a soggy day when a visitor showed in soaked but with a contagious smile, having been caught in an unexpected deluge. We laughed, told stories, and ultimately had an unplanned movie night with hot cocoa. These unplanned encounters are what make a visit become a treasured memory.

Designing Marron:

My goal in creating Marron was to create a home that told a narrative and had personality, not merely a place to stay. Every piece of art on the wall and every piece of furniture has a backstory. The comfortable reading alcove? Motivated by recollections from childhood. The old-fashioned map in the corridor? a tribute to the sense of discovery that comes with travel.

The Sincere Farewells:

Even though I enjoy the excitement of new arrivals, saying goodbye is never easy. Visitors turn into friends, and it makes me happy to see them go with smiles on their faces and vows to visit again. Marron is a community of nomads, not just a place, where every goodbye is a “see you later.”

Gazing Forward:
I can’t wait for the fresh tales to be revealed as we go around Marron together. Know that Marron is more than just a place to sleep, whether you’re a frequent visitor or not. It’s a canvas for adventures and a home away from home.

We are grateful that you shared in the Marron narrative. Many more Marron Moments are ahead of us!

Warm regards,

Olga Leonidi
